Superman/Batman Apocalypse review

One of the better DC animated films. Features fan favourites Tim Daly as Superman, Kevin Conroy as Batman, and Summer Glau (Firefly) as Supergirl. Andre Braugher (Brooklyn nine-nine) does a perfect job as Darkseid. Great Supergirl, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman exchanges, showing the differences between them that they have to either overcome or accept. How each of them reacts to Supergirl, a teenageer with Superman's powers, works really well and has more depth than the latest BvsS live action film in about half the run time. Epic final battle and some sweet comedic moments. Xtras a plenty with a very nice retrospective of the character Supergirl and looking in depth into The Old Gods and Darkseid. Even includes 4 episodes from the animated series featuring Darkseid chosen by Bruce Timm, and a well produced animated short film of Green Arrow.
If you aren't happy with the changes from source material of the Supergirl tv show then definitely try this, even if you're not a Supergirl fan this movie may change that.
